Story of Maja Luwak

We started to expand to Kopi Luwak (Civet Coffee) in 2008. With more than three decades of expertise and knowledge in coffee, we aim to produce the best Kopi Luwak in the world. We have great concern for the environment. We have excellent relationships with our coffee farmers and we treat them fairly. For our civet coffee, we only collect beans from free-range (wild) civets.

Wild civets have natural instinct to eat only the ripest and the freshest coffee beans. The stomach enzymes ferment and enhance the quality and flavor of the beans. The result is that the civet coffee has unique flavors , unlike any other coffee in the world. The coffee becomes less acidic and very aromatic with fruity aftertaste.
